Harvest Week

Each day the children from each class led our school assembly. We shared what we had learnt about harvest and autumn.

Class 1 told us the story of The Busy Little Squirrel.

Class 2 read a Harvest Poem and performed a retelling of The Enormous Turnip.

Class 3 told us all about the history of harvest and performed a fantastic poem Harvest Moon. 

Class 4 also told us about harvest and read some of their own beautiful poetry, full of the imagery of Autumn. 

 

All the children brought in harvest donations which were shared with Fleetwood Foodbank.
