'Inspiring a joy to learn; promoting a desire to achieve'
Welcome to Stalmine Primary School and Nursery
On behalf of the pupils, staff and governors I would like to wish you a warm welcome and thank you for taking the time to visit our school website. Stalmine Primary School and Pre-school is a growing and thriving school, right at the heart of the community. We are a warm and friendly school, with a family feel and nurturing staff who care deeply about the community we serve. We know all children love to succeed and we aim to ensure our pupils reach their full potential and are challenged through a rigorous, exciting and creative curriculum. Our expectations of behaviour and attitude to learning are high and we support our pupils to be independent and responsible in the choices that they make.
We also believe passionately about providing our pupils with experiences above and beyond the curriculum. We offer a wide range of extra curricular activities which include judo, fencing and archery alongside many other sports clubs provided by our partnership with Fleetwood Town Community Trust (FTCT). A variety of musical opportunities exist for our pupils across school and our designated forest school and outdoor learning area provides our pupils with an opportunity to develop skills creatively outdoors, complimenting learning that takes place within the classroom.
We have a thriving Nursery and Pre-School at Stalmine. Here the foundations for a life-long love of learning are set through creative learning experiences and structured play.
I hope you take the time to explore more of our website to find out more about our school life. Please feel free to contact the school should you wish to come and meet the people who make Stalmine Primary School a very special place to be.
