A 'Thank You'

Thank you for allowing me time to speak and say “thank you” at your Harvest Festival.

On behalf of the SVP Fleetwood Food Bank I would like to thank you and all the children, parents and staff for your support of the Food Bank with your very generous Harvest Festival food donation.

Without the very generous support of schools, churches, organisations and individuals we would not be able to provide an average of about 40 food parcels each week which help to feed between 60 and 90 local people, adults and children, who can not afford to put food on their table for whatever reasons, as we do not receive any financial assistance from any statutory organisations and are completely dependant on voluntary donations of food and on some occasions money.

This year so far, with the help of these very generous donations, we have been able to give out over 1400 food parcels which have helped to feed over 1900 adults and over 1000 children a total of more than 2900 persons.
