We have been finding out the function of different parts of a plant.
We have been creating sculptures using play dough. First of all we looked at the work of two famous artists called Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth.

We have had a very busy fortnight so far in class 1, our reception year group is full with 15 children and we have 6 new nursery children. Everyone has settled in really well and we are all enjoying our new experiences.
Getting Creative for The Great Eccleston Show
We had a a fabulous day when we went to Lytham Park. We played and investigated lots of equipment. Had a lovely picnic lunch, followed with a tasty ice cream. During the afternoon we were challenged to build dens.
We spent last week engaged in many outdoor activities. In class 2 we were learning about the environmental artist Andy Goldsworthy.
