Every year, as a small school we have to reflect on the best way to group our pupils to ensure they make the best possible progress whilst also working within our budget. From September 2016 we are delighted to be able to have 4 classes once again. This is excellent for our school as it means our pupils can be grouped with other children within the same key stage. Our class organisation means our pupils will also benefit from smaller classes and we feel this will help our children achieve better and make more rapid progress. We have also created and resourced an 'English Zone' and a 'Maths Zone'. These areas can be used by groups and in the afternoons they will be used for specialist interventions so that pupils at risk of falling behind can be offered a chance to 'catch up'.
Our classes are:
Class 1 Miss Clarke and Mrs Aspinall (EYFS)
Reception pupils will work in Class 1 (9 pupils) Our Nursery pupils also work within EYFS.
Class 2 Mrs Wareing and Mrs Holland KS1
