Attendance Related to COVID-19

Does my child have to return to school?

Yes, attendance regulations have been reinstated by the DfE. Failure to ensure your child attends school may result in fixed penalty notices

 

What do I do if my child is displaying any of the COVID symptoms? 

Do not send your child to school.

Can I still send my child to school if I or any other household / bubble member have symptoms but they are symptom free? 

Only if your child is well and has no COVID symptoms. 

If your child tests positive on a lateral flow test, then they must stay at home.

What happens if my child starts to display symptoms in school?

Your child will be taken to our well ventilated medical room. 

You will be called to collect your child as soon as is possible.

You will be advised to get a test for your child.
