New Picnic Benches

We are really grateful to FOSS who have donated the money to purchase three picnic tables for our playground. We have thoroughly enjoyed eating lunch outside on sunny days and now we can do so in style! It also means that we can work outside in groups when the weather is good. Thanks FOSS!

Year 2 Writers

It's amazing to see how our infant pupils are adapting to the rigours of writing for extended periods - when I went in this morning they were all hard at work and had opted to do without their Friday Golden Time in order to carry on with their stories! Well done Year 2 - you're growing up!

Canine Education

What an interesting day it's been having Canine Education in school. I had no idea that statistically half of all children will be bitten by a dog at some point in their life and that usually it will be a family dog or that of a friend or neighbour. Knowing this, it is all the more important that…

Village Lantern Walk and Tree Lighting

What a wonderful atmosphere there was last night at the village lantern walk - it was so nice to see all the families with their lanterns and it was incredibly busy at the church as people gathered for the lighting of the tree. The Rev. Dickinson lead an informal service and the Over Wyre brass…

Staying safe inside

We had some excitement at the end of the day today when we realised a tree had fallen down on our field! To keep us safe inside today we had our lunches in Class 3 whilst the Fleetwood Town coach used the hall to offer the children a chance to play some games and let off steam. I think the…
